Jangwani Camp

Location: Muranga – Kirinyanga

Jangwani Camp is a great camping gateway for the entire family. The descent into the camp will get your adrenaline pumping! The steep drop opens up to a magical camping site that sits next to the Sagana riverbank, within sight of a thundering waterfall. As the sun sets, over the waterfall, your kids will enjoy listening to stories seated around a huge bonfire.

The whole family will wake up to the sound of birds chirping-awesome for nature lovers! then head out for a hike or try some archery after breakfast. If your teens are brave enough, they can go swimming, cycling, kayaking or rafting.

The tents plus or the luxurious tents are spacious enough for a mid-sized family. Mum and dad can make it more fun with games such as scrabble, or that box of Jenga! There is a restaurant and bar to cater to your culinary needs but you can also prepare your own food. Remember to carry some water and energy bars for the kids to snack on.

– The luxurious tents are always in high demand, so it is advisable to book early.

– Pack some camping essentials such as bug spray, sleeping bags, kids’ wellies or rain boots and waterproof clothing-camping fleece, waterproof pants and socks, swimming gear (if you plan to swim) plus a camping lamp or flashlight.
