Castle Forest Lodge is an awesome weekend getaway for the whole family
Built in 1910, the Lodge takes you back in history and was visited by the queen and the 1st President of Kenya. There are several Cottages, Budget Rooms, and Bungalows plus options to pitch your tent and camp on the Cottage grounds- awesome! The Chalet – a beautiful wooden cabin tops the range. It sleeps 4 in one double bedroom and a loft with a double bed. There is a lot of space to put extra beds or mattresses.
The kids’ menus offer plenty to choose from including chips, sausage, toasted sandwiches and more! The lodge is also an eco-tourism facility working hard to maintain the environment and resources around it.
There are plenty of activities to do while at the lodge such as swimming, horseback riding, nature walks, trout fishing, bird watching and wildlife-awesome!
