ForRest Cabin is a beautiful spot for families looking to swap city noise for fresh mountain air and quiet forest views. Tucked away on the slopes of Mt. Kenya, this 4-bedroom cabin is a cozy hideout that mixes comfort, relaxation, and plenty of outdoor fun.
The cabin sleeps up to 8 people and comes with 3 modern bathrooms with hot showers. Bedrooms are fitted with warm blankets and hot water bottles for those chilly nights.
The living room is tastefully furnished with Wi-Fi and a Smart TV (Netflix + YouTube), while the smoke-free fireplace makes it perfect for family nights in. Step out to the verandah or balcony to sip your morning tea as the birds sing all around.
Food is always a highlight here. Families can harvest vegetables, eggs, and rabbit from the farm-to-table garden, or have a chef prepare fresh, hearty meals on request.
There’s no shortage of things to do: forest walks, river wading, bird spotting, archery, fish feeding, and garden tours. Evenings are best spent with games and stories by the fire. If you’re feeling adventurous, guided hikes to caves or nearby safaris can be arranged.
